Chromium propionate in broilers: human food and broiler safety

Chromium propionate (Cr Prop) supplementation up to 10 times the approved broiler diet level is safe. This study found no adverse effects on broiler health or human-edible tissue chromium levels, supporting its use in poultry feed.
