Summary

Laser in situ Keratomileusis (LASIK) effectively corrects high hypermetropia, showing good visual acuity outcomes. While some regression and optical aberrations occurred, the procedure offers satisfactory refractive results for patients.

  • To analyze visual acuity and refractive outcomes post-LASIK.
  • To investigate changes in optical quality after LASIK for hyperopia.

  • Retrospective analysis of 160 patients (266 eyes) with high hypermetropia treated with LASIK.
  • Utilized Wavelight Allegretto Eye-Q excimer laser and Moria M2 microkeratome.
