Analysis of erroneous data entries in paper based and electronic data collection

Electronic data collection (EDC) significantly reduces data omissions compared to paper-based data collection (PBDC) in biomedical research. This study found EDC to be a more reliable method for ensuring data completeness, especially for categorical variables.
