Preinjury Narcotic Use Does Not Affect Treatment for Compartment Syndrome

Preinjury opioid use did not affect the need for fasciotomy in lower extremity trauma patients. This study found no association between prior narcotic use and the diagnosis or treatment of compartment syndrome.
