Summary

This study introduces a new technique for costal cartilage rhinoplasty to reduce visible graft edges and improve contour smoothness. The method uses diced cartilage to cover the graft margins, enhancing aesthetic outcomes. Six patients were treated with this approach and followed for 15 months. Five patients were very satisfied with the results. No major complications were reported. The authors suggest this technique may be particularly useful for East Asian patients requiring significant nasal augmentation. The method is described as simple and safe. Further studies are recommended to confirm long-term effectiveness. The findings support the use of this approach to improve graft integration and patient satisfaction.
