1Arun Radhakrishnan, is the clinical lead of the Ontario College of Family Physicians' Collaborative Mentoring Networks, co-chair of the Collaborative Mental Health Network and the Medical Mentoring for Addictions and Pain Network and a clinical lead with the Centre for Effective Practice. He is a family physician with a practice focusing on chronic pain management and is affiliated with The Ottawa Hospital and the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Radhakrishnan is also a 2018-2019 Associated Medical Services Phoenix Fellow.
Collaborative Mentoring Networks (CMNs) enhance primary care capacity by providing family physicians with expert support for complex cases, improving confidence and retention. This model effectively addresses the growing need for comprehensive chronic condition management.
