Time for a New Perspective on Prolactin in Metabolism

Prolactin (PRL) hormone, previously thought diabetogenic, is now understood to be beneficial for metabolic health. Lower PRL levels are linked to type 2 diabetes risk, suggesting higher levels promote homeostasis.
