Neonatal thyroid-stimulating hormone and association with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder

Neonatal thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels below the screening threshold for congenital hypothyroidism may be associated with an increased risk of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), particularly in girls. Further research is needed to confirm these findings.
