Ghost spasticity in multiple sclerosis.

Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients often exhibit a tonic stretch reflex in their hamstrings, even without clinical hypertonia. This "ghost spasticity" may increase the risk of developing hamstring contractures.
