Summary

Molecularly-targeted MRI (mt-MRI) successfully visualized bladder permeability changes in a rat model of interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS). This imaging technique detected key molecular alterations, offering potential for improved diagnostics and therapies for IC/BPS.
