Summary

Prion seeding activity, measured by real-time quaking-induced conversion (RT-QuIC), correlates with prion infection but not fully with infectivity. Seeding dose and PrPSc levels rise continuously, while infectious titer plateaus, suggesting partial overlap between seeding activity and PrPSc.
