Summary

This study found no significant difference in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) health between two osteosynthesis techniques following bilateral sagittal split osteotomy (BSSO). Both miniplate and hybrid fixation methods resulted in similar outcomes for TMJ disorders and symptoms.
