Racial and Ethnic Variation Associated With Human Papillomavirus Genotype in Anal Dysplasia

Black race and male sex are linked to a higher chance of non-16/18 high-risk (HR) Human Papillomavirus (HPV) genotypes in anal dysplasia. This finding is crucial for HPV vaccination and screening strategies.

Conclusions:
- Black race and male sex are associated with higher likelihood of non-16/18 HR HPV genotypes in anal dysplasia.
- Many identified HR HPV genotypes are not covered by current vaccines.
- Further research in larger cohorts is needed for HPV vaccination and anal dysplasia screening implications.
