Summary

Lower subcallosal cingulate (SCC) to medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) structural connectivity predicts better treatment response in major depressive disorder (MDD). This finding suggests SCC-mPFC connectivity may be a biomarker for selecting effective depression treatments.
