A new hyperbranched rolling circle amplification (HRCA) method combined with lateral flow dipstick (LFD) offers rapid, sensitive detection of Prorocentrum minimum. This HRCA-LFD technique provides a reliable alternative for identifying this harmful algal bloom species.
