Aquaporin-5 Expression Is Reduced in Lymphocytic Colitis

Aquaporin-5 (AQP5) water channel expression is reduced in most lymphocytic colitis (LC) cases. This reduced AQP5 may indicate a subset of LC patients who respond poorly to steroid treatment.
