Abstract:
Triple arthrodesis is valuable in the stabilization and correction of foot deformity resulting from postcalcaneal fracture, talipes equinovarus, and neurological deficits. This manuscript summarizes the literature related to the complications of delayed union, hypermobility, and arthrosis following triple arthrodesis. A comparison of the outcome of specific rearfoot fusions is also presented.
