[Fine modeling of nasal cavity and its application in precision surgical design]
Abstract:
In recent years, the research hotspot of rhinology is looking forward to effective method for changing the anatomical structure of nasal cavity and paranasal sinus. And it will build up the optimal relationship between airflow field and biological effects in rhinology surgency. Now in precise medical treatment, we are eager to find a more reasonable and optimized surgical method before operation, with the help of information technology and big data science. It will not only achieve the greatest biological effect, but also maximize the protection of the lateral wall of the nasal cavity, in order to eliminate the potential recurrence of sinusitis. This paper mainly includes three parts: status and trends of nasal cavity modeling, biomechanics research progress and progress in evaluation of nasal surgery. It is very helpful for promoting the applying of up-to-date model in precise surgical design.

Cranial Bones: Lateral View
The temporal bone forms the lower lateral side of the skull. The temporal bone is subdivided into several regions. The flattened upper portion is the squamous portion of the temporal bone. Below this area and projecting anteriorly is the zygomatic process of the temporal bone, which forms the posterior portion of the zygomatic arch. Posteriorly is the mastoid portion of the temporal bone. Projecting...
