Lithogenic Potential of Ureaplasma in Chronic Prostatitis

Ureaplasma species (UPs) are linked to increased prostate calcifications, potentially contributing to chronic prostatitis. Their presence in prostatic fluids, not just the urethra, correlates with higher calcification rates and inflammation.
