Detergents are used to purify the integral proteins of the membrane. The hydrophobic portion of the detergent can replace membrane phospholipids while solubilizing the membrane proteins.   • To develop an efficient purification method for resistant dextrin (RD).
  • To characterize the purified RD and assess its suitability for the food industry.

  • Anion exchange resin (D285) for decolorization.
  • Characterization using turbidity, spectroscopy, and property analysis.

  • Purified RD demonstrates excellent properties, including heat and digestive enzyme resistance.
  • The findings support the wide application of purified RD in the food industry.
