Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: A Call to Action
Abstract:
The year 2020 has been one of challenges and change. Nursing professional development practitioners are being called to action to purposefully address diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). This article provides insight into how practitioners and administrators can work to create an environment of DE&I that starts with awareness and culminates in creating a nursing workforce and practice environment that reflects the values and beliefs of our profession.
