Surgical bypass is a viable option for complex aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) cases unsuitable for other treatments. This study found bypass surgery in aSAH patients yielded significant complications but offered a treatment pathway when other options were limited.

- This study represents the largest modern series on bypass for aSAH, highlighting its role in challenging clinical scenarios.
