This study reports a rare case of a ruptured duplication cyst in a child's transverse colon, a condition rarely seen in pediatric gastrointestinal abnormalities. The diagnosis was initially mistaken for appendicitis, highlighting the diagnostic challenges of these rare congenital anomalies.
