|May 1, 1988
Abstract:
Since the authors' first case in 1958, 221 bladder replacements in more than 500 radical cystectomies have been performed in their department. They discuss perioperative complications; postoperative complications including mortality, gastrointestinal problems, urologic problems, and infections; and late complications such as ileal bladder problems, upper urinary tract problems, secondary diversions, and incontinence.
