Neuroprogression in post-traumatic stress disorder: a systematic review

Neuroprogression in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) involves brain changes, particularly in the frontal lobe, alongside worsening neurocognition and functioning. Further research is needed to confirm PTSD as a neuroprogressive disorder.
