Oral Deferasirox is not an effective iron chelator for Thalassemia Major patients with high iron overload. Intravenous Deferioxamine remains the preferred treatment for managing iron overload and preventing complications.

- Intravenous Deferioxamine is still the preferred treatment for effective control of iron overload and its complications in Thalassemia Major.
