|June 25, 2021
Abstract:
On June 3, 1991, a museum of allergology was opened in Germany to preserve and display relevant material from the field of allergy, including pictures, instruments, allergens, movies, books, congress materials, and relevant historical artifacts. Allergy sufferers, their families, teachers, schoolchildren, the medical profession, and mass media now have a new and centralized source of information, an exposition, books, pamphlets, and videos available at the Allergy Documentation and Information Center.

Overview
Antibodies, also known as immunoglobulins (Ig), are essential players of the adaptive immune system. These antigen-binding proteins are produced by B cells and make up 20 percent of the total blood plasma by weight. In mammals, antibodies fall into five different classes, which each elicits a different biological response upon antigen binding.
