Summary
Prostate heterogeneity on multi-parametric MRI (mpMRI) may obscure lesions. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) heterogeneity in the transition zone (TZ) showed a correlation with higher-grade tumors detected by systematic biopsy (SB) compared to MRI-directed target biopsy (MDTB).
