Increased 68Ga-FAPI Uptake in the Pulmonary Cryptococcus and the Postradiotherapy Inflammation

This study shows that while 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT can detect tumor recurrence, it may also produce false positives. Careful interpretation is needed, especially for pulmonary nodules and nasopharyngeal imaging.

- Stable Epstein-Barr virus levels and lack of progression on follow-up imaging supported the false-positive interpretation.
