Student Perceptions of a Reflective Writing-based Wellness Course: "Good in Theory, But..."

Medical students appreciate wellness initiatives, but a reflective writing course was perceived as burdensome and ineffective, sometimes increasing distress. Implicit messages of care and acceptance, however, positively impacted professional socialization.
