A new abbreviated breast MRI protocol using ultra-high b-value diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) shows promise for detecting breast cancer without contrast agents. This non-contrast method offers nearly equivalent diagnostic accuracy to traditional contrast-enhanced MRI, improving screening efficiency.
