Summary

Quantitative computed tomography (Q-CT) offers a more precise assessment of spinal osteoporosis than dual X-ray absorptiometry (DXA). Q-CT may be a superior alternative for evaluating spinal bone density, potentially replacing DXA as the gold standard.
