No Correlation Between Plantar Flexor Muscle Volume and Sprint Performance in Sprinters

Summary

Greater plantar flexor muscle volume (MV) is not linked to better sprint performance in sprinters. While sprinters have larger plantar flexor muscles than non-sprinters, this size difference doesn't correlate with their 100m sprint times.
