Traditional values-based approaches to culture are limited.

To develop and validate a new instrument measuring analytic versus holistic cognitive tendencies.
To assess four key dimensions: attention, causality, contradiction, and change.
To provide a reliable and valid scale for individual-level cognitive cultural assessment.

Validation through three studies with four unique samples (N = 41, 272, 454, 454).
