Antioxidants Supplementation in Acute Amitriptyline Abuse for Pain

Antioxidant supplements, including alpha lipoic acid (ALA) and vitamin C, significantly reduce oxidative stress caused by amitriptyline poisoning. Combining ALA and vitamin C showed the greatest benefit in alleviating intoxication effects.
