CHARACTERISTICS OF CD68+ AND CD163+ EXPRESSION IN PLACENTA OF WOMEN WITH PREECLAMPSIA AND OBESITY

Obesity and preeclampsia in pregnant women are linked to an imbalance of placental macrophages, with a higher expression of pro-inflammatory CD68+ macrophages. This suggests a potential cause for preeclampsia development.
