In-patient treatment of bronchial asthma

Acute Asthmatic attacks result in about one million emergency room visits yearly, with approximately 130,000 hospital admissions. Rational in-hospital approach to evaluation and therapy is reviewed. Management must be aggressive to avoid under treatment.
