  • The Virtual Wellness and Learning Communities (VWLC) program was developed to support medical student well-being during this period.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To establish and evaluate the efficacy of the VWLC program in promoting medical student well-being and community.
  • To assess the impact of virtual engagement on peer connectivity and mental wellness among medical students during the pandemic.

Main Methods:

  • Conducted over 20 virtual events and workshops (e.g., trivia, yoga, skill-building) from March to June 2020.
  • Administered an Institutional Review Board-approved survey to both participants and non-participants of the VWLC program.
