Age-Related Changes in Calcitonin-Producing Thyroid C-Cells of Male Wistar Rats

Aging significantly alters thyroid C-cells, increasing their volume and secretory granules. This study investigated age-related changes in calcitonin-producing C-cells and hormone levels in male rats.
