- Engineering
- Information Science
Background:
- Integrated logistics support (ILS) is crucial for maintaining equipment operational capability throughout its lifecycle.
- Current ILS data exhibits multi-source, heterogeneous, and multidimensional characteristics, hindering efficient utilization.
- There is an urgent need for unified data modeling to address these limitations.
Purpose of the Study:
- To propose a unified data modeling method for consistent and comprehensive expression of integrated logistics support (ILS) data.
- To develop a framework and models that facilitate efficient ILS data utilization and sharing.
Main Methods:
- A four-tier unified data modeling framework was constructed based on ILS data characteristics.
- Core, Domain, and Instantiated unified data models were developed.
- Analysis of ILS data across time, product, and activity dimensions was performed.
- A Lifecycle ILS unified data model was created, incorporating multidimensional information retrieval.
Main Results:
- The proposed method addresses the consistent and comprehensive expression of ILS data.
- A unified data modeling framework and successive models (Core, Domain, Instantiated, Lifecycle) were successfully built.
- Multidimensional information retrieval methods for ILS data were discussed.
- Practical ILS data models were constructed using a software prototype, demonstrating feasibility.
Conclusions:
- The developed unified data modeling method effectively solves the ILS data expression problem.
- The framework allows different systems to share a common data model, providing tailored views for ILS designers.
- The feasibility of the proposed unified data modeling approach for equipment ILS was verified through practical implementation.
