Performance of digital PET/CT compared with conventional PET/CT in oncologic patients: a prospective comparison study

Digital PET (dPET) systems with high-resolution reconstruction detect more cancer lesions with higher confidence than conventional PET (cPET). However, performance is similar if dPET is acquired first, suggesting prolonged uptake time benefits cPET.
