The C-reactive protein-to-albumin ratio (CAR) index is a valuable biomarker for diagnosing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and assessing its severity. This laboratory test demonstrated high diagnostic accuracy and predictability in patients with COVID-19.
