The COVID-19 pandemic significantly reduced hepatitis B diagnoses in Poland in 2020. Despite fewer tests, the childhood hepatitis B vaccination program remained stable, showing its resilience.

    • No acute hepatitis B cases were reported in vaccinated individuals (childhood vaccination).
    • The childhood hepatitis B vaccination program demonstrated stability despite pandemic-related healthcare access limitations.
