The Association Between Virtual Interviewing and Geographical Distribution of Matched Residency Programs for General

Virtual interviews for general surgery residency did not change where applicants matched. Geographic distribution, distance, and flight costs remained similar for residents interviewed virtually compared to those interviewed in-person.
