Summary

This study found that closed Hyperthermic IntraPEritoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) with CO2 agitation offers comparable safety and survival rates to traditional methods for peritoneal carcinomatosis. The technique demonstrated low mortality and reduced morbidity, making it a viable option post-cytoreductive surgery.
