Hydroexpression - A novel technique to deliver nucleus in small-incision cataract surgery

Nucleus delivery is still considered as one of the tough steps in SICS among fresh surgeons , leading to various complications at the verge of completion of surgery which further decreases the confidence and elongates the learning curve among the residents,trainees & fellows. Our new technique "Hydroexpression" utilizes minimal manipulation and minimal instrumentation to express the nucleus with only hydro-cannula without even use of viscoelastics in AC.
