  • Despite prompt and comprehensive treatment with voriconazole and amphotericin B (topical, systemic, and intravitreal), the patient experienced poor visual and anatomical outcomes.

  • This case underscores the importance of early diagnosis and aggressive management of fungal endophthalmitis, even with novel antifungal agents.
