Devitalized bone surface culture (BSC) shows promise for diagnosing osteomyelitis (OM) by detecting pathogens more effectively and faster than traditional tissue sampling culture (TSC). This novel method offers a potentially superior approach for identifying causative microorganisms in OM patients.
