Summary
This case report details the first instance of Warthin tumor (WT) and Kimura disease (KD) co-occurring in the parotid gland. The study highlights the rare simultaneous presentation of these distinct head and neck conditions.

Background:
- Warthin tumor (WT) is a common benign parotid gland neoplasm, typically affecting middle-aged male smokers.
- Kimura disease (KD) is a rare chronic inflammatory condition often seen in Asian men, characterized by head and neck nodules and lymphadenopathy.
Observation:
- A 64-year-old man presented with a decade-long asymptomatic left facial swelling.
- Imaging revealed a multicystic parotid mass; surgical resection showed components of WT and features consistent with KD, including eosinophilic infiltrate and elevated IgE.
Findings:
- Histopathology confirmed a concurrent diagnosis of Warthin tumor and Kimura disease in the parotid gland.
- The patient exhibited elevated serum immunoglobulin E levels, indicative of coexisting Kimura disease.
Implications:
- This is the first documented case of simultaneous Warthin tumor and Kimura disease in the parotid gland.
- The findings expand the understanding of salivary gland tumor and inflammatory disease co-presentations.
