Comprehensive immunohistochemical analysis based on the origin of leiomyosarcoma

- Specific antibodies, including estrogen receptor, PR, desmin, EMMPRIN, caldesmon, c-Myc, and cyclin D1, may assist in determining the primary origin of leiomyosarcomas.
- Immunophenotypic analysis provides valuable insights into the differences between uterine and extra-uterine LMS, potentially guiding clinical decisions.
